Stora Enso in De Lier
We are Stora Enso in De Lier, formerly De Jong Verpakking BV. Since 1996, we have been designing, manufacturing and supplying corrugated cardboard packaging, entirely in-house.
Built for high volumes
Our production site in De Lier is designed for efficient, large-scale production. Design, production, storage and logistics are closely integrated. This enables us to handle high volumes and respond to fluctuating customer demand and peak periods.
Local knowledge, international strength
Since 2023, we have been part of Stora Enso. This allows us to combine the knowledge, experience and customer focus built up in De Lier with Stora Enso’s expertise and international scale. Stora Enso operates globally in renewable materials and packaging solutions. As part of Stora Enso, we are building further on our local foundations and have access to broader knowledge, innovation and expertise within the group.

In both fresh produce and industry we have a big market share. Together with our customers we can deliver special boxes designed for you. We design, run production and deliver all our corrugated boxes and trays ourselves.

Specialist in corrugated cardboard
Stora Enso has a modern fleet of machinery for the production of corrugated board and corrugated trays, folding boxes and other packaging solutions. From our site in De Lier, we process up to 2.5 million m² of corrugated board every day into packaging for customers across a wide range of sectors. Thanks to our advanced production and processing lines, we produce up to 5 million packaging units every day.
Fast delivery from a large stock
Thanks to our extensive stock of around 20 million cardboard packages and a daily production capacity of up to 5 million packages, we are able to deliver quickly and flexibly to customers throughout Western Europe. With around 500 deliveries a day, we reach customers in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland and France

Today, Stora Enso’s site in De Lier is home to one of the most advanced production facilities for corrugated cardboard packaging in Western Europe. With state-of-the-art production facilities, a high degree of automation and our own logistics organisation, we work every day to develop smart and sustainable packaging solutions for customers across a wide range of sectors.
